  Virgin Flyer by Lucy Lennox Rating : 4 out of 5 Stars Content Warnings for book: Death of a family member, grief, discussion of homophobia Kink: N/A Virgin Flyer by Lucy Lennox is a sweet age-gap romance featuring a pilot who doesn't usually commit, a nurse whose held onto his virginity, and the complex feelings about a love you've known versus a love that you appreciate. The setting ground for this story is that Teo is in love with his best friend Chris, who he's had on-and-off again hidden relationship with since they were kids. However, he is a virgin and doesn't want to embarrass himself should he get with Chris, so he opts to find a hookup. From there we get swept into meeting Jack, a pilot. Some forced proximity and chance meetings, they fall into each others arms again - and Jack agrees to be a fake boyfriend to help make Chris jealous, although he is becoming attached to Teo quite quickly. Stepbrother Next Door by Anna Wineheart Rating : 3.5 out of 5 Stars  Content Warnings for book: Pregnancy complications, discussion of miscarriages, power imbalance, self-harm Kink: Spanking, knotting, consensual somnophilia, exhibitionism, sex toys, DP, foodplay, forced orgasms Stepbrother Next Door by Anna Wineheart is an omegaverse, stepbrothers age-gap romance - and throw in some professor/student for good fun.  Hunter and Quentin were sweet together - they both have insecurities (though, Hunter's felt just a tad bit shallow to me?), and Quentin struggled with what felt like depression and evidently self-harm. I loved the praise from Hunter given to Quentin, how he clearly cared for him even though there was hurt and pain between them. The glimspes of their past we get is quite sweet, too. Overall, I enjoy the protective alpha/sweet and sad omega trope, so it's no surprise I enjoyed this. However, I do have some nitpicks -- it wasn't such an issue I couldn't enj
